To donate and find out more go to her website at https://toddformn.com/
For more than 30 years, his wife Stacey, and Todd have proudly called Minnesota home. They’ve lived in Burnsville, Farmington, and Apple Valley, supporting local businesses, attending community events, and building strong relationships across Dakota County.
They are active members of Mother Mary of the Church in Burnsville, and recently joined the Knights of Columbus — a group that has strengthened his faith and commitment to service.
Stacey and Todd have been married for 34 wonderful years. They met at Iowa State University, married in college, and built their life together from the ground up. They raised two sons who are now thriving in their careers — Ethan, a Minnesota contractor expecting his first child, and Jonah, a civil engineer in Washington state.
Todd grew up as the oldest of eight children on a small hobby farm in Ames, Iowa. The Buchwald family raised livestock, grew crops, and learned the value of hard work and self‑sufficiency. Those early lessons shaped his appreciation for local farmers and the importance of strong, resilient communities.
Todd has owned businesses since college, renovated homes with his brothers, and even helped restore an abandoned 1880s building on the Lincoln Highway — now home to a church and three residential units.
For 22 years, he worked with a Minnesota health insurer, helping small businesses navigate health plans and advocating for employees. He has always believed in doing what’s right for people.
